We know that it is a stressful time for a family when it becomes necessary to move your loved one from one medical facility to another. When you use our patient transport services at ACC Medlink, we do everything possible to help make the process stress-free and easy for you and for the patient. Our services include en route care, including these services:
- Assistance with feeding – Meals, snacks, and drinks are included
- Shifting and turning patients
- Attending to personal needs such as cleaning, diaper changes
- Maintaining a catheter if needed
- Assisting patient with prescribed medications
Our transport team is trained to provide non emergency medical transport services from bedside to bedside. We are not a long distance ambulance, and we are not authorized to perform emergency care in our long distance medical transport vehicles.
