ACC Medlink transporters are the only medical transport vehicles approved by the Department of Transportation. All safety requirements have been met & exceeded. We have over 20 vans which are expertly maintained at regular schedules.
RVs are not DOT approved for medical transportation. If an accident occurs, the RV can easily crush passengers. RVs and Class A motorhomes are not subjected to the same extensive crash/safety requirements as automobiles.
Best-in-class interior standing height, and comfortable 8-inch memory foam mattresses for the patient and family. Nurses can stand & properly care for the patient en route.
Minivans are cramped and uncomfortable. Patient only has use of a bedpan during travel. There is no headroom to stand up and no room for family members to accompany the patient.
With ACC Medlink, you will find comfort AND safety in our state-of-the-art Stryker Power Load stretchers equipped with an 8-inch memory foam mattress.
Competitor stretchers may be lacking technology that allows for a smoother lift into and out of the transport vehicle.
