ACC Medlink Ground transported my sister-in-law Patricia from Seattle to Fort Lauderdale after her Stroke. I accompanied Patricia on the trip because she is no longer able to walk or speak. We needed to move her to So Fla to be near family for support and advocacy. Patricia could not be cleared to fly due to the risk for causing additional blood clots. A nurse in her Seattle Rehab suggested hiring a medical transporter team to move her. She said other patients from her Seattle rehab were moved successfully to San Francisco and Las Vegas. We didn't know such services were even possible. The telephone representatives were very nice and walked us through the entire contract process and what to expect about the trip. They were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I was a bit nervous and apprehensive about taking such a long trip with Pat. However, they were confident they could take excellent care of us which is exactly what they did. We left Seattle on 11/26 at 11:45am and arrived in Fort Lauderdale 11/29 at 3:30am. Our two drivers drove us nonstop. They alternated taking sleeping breaks to stay fresh and alert. We stopped only for fuel, toilet breaks and to get food. They always asked if the restaurant choices were acceptable and would order take-away while en route and then pick it up to eat in our medical van. They kindly insisted on paying for all food during our trip. They had an onboard cooler to keep Patricia's protein shakes and water cold. They also had a big box filled with a wide assortment of chips, cookies and doughnuts that I was welcome to enjoy. James and Kelon could not have been any more hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable. Our nurse was Stacey was a sweetheart. She was very kind and caring to Patricia. She tried to get her to eat by feeding her mashed potatoes, apple sauce with her medication and protein shakes. Stacey made sure Patricia was clean/dry, warm, comfortable and securely buckled to her bed. Stacey charted all medication she dispensed and food she fed her. The team was very engaging, and we shared stories during the trip. I was able to access the internet on my iPhone to watched videos, read news, checked weather conditions. I was able to keep in touch with family and friends about our progress and locations. Everything was great! My feedback on the vehicle would be to install cup holders for beverages and handles above the beds to make it easier to get on and off. The beds are very similar to the ones you'd find in a physician's examination room. The handles would be helpful when experiencing bumpy roads and making sudden stops. Overall, I highly recommend ACC Medlink. Our coast-to-coast journey was wonderful. Could not have been blessed with nicer and more knowledgeable people who took excellent care of us during our Thanksgiving trip from Seattle to Fort Lauderdale. Thank you!

We traveled on Thanksgiving and the crew of DeAngelo (Medic) and drivers Eric and Bernard Jr, were EXCEPTIONAL, couldn't have had a better crew. Very polite and respectful and they made myself and my dad very comfortable during the 9-hour trip to Michigan.

We recently hired ACC Medlink Non-Emergency Transport Service for long distance transport a family member with post-stoke recovery cross country from West to East coast. We are grateful and appreciative with the ACC Medlink staff with medic and two drivers who were professional, friendly and patient. They ensure care and comfort for the patient and our family members to safely reach our destination. They were accommodating even when asked for additional family member to travel with patient. With that said, we are very thankful to this staff for providing us service during a holiday to be away from their families during Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We wish them the best and safe travels on their continuing journeys.

Roberta went above and beyond to make our mom feel calm and get through a difficult transitional move. She even bought her a birthday card and piece of cake when she found out her Birthday was in 2 days. Exceptional service!!

The entire team was professional and we were grateful for their support, the driver Tim was personable and really made sure we were ok. It would be good if someone would explain at the beginning of the trip how the rest stops were handled (I didn't know to talk to the driver about snacks so I paid for them myself and later found out that I needed to tell the driver at the stops). Everything was very simple and Dee and Andrew were great also. They really helped when we got home and the nurse, Dee said, 'This is why we do the job- to see the look when you get home '. I was very pleased.

Everything was well coordinated and trip went smoothly and on schedule.

ACC Medlink was excellent throughout the process, starting with the first phone call. They really took wonderful care of my mother-in-law, and their communication was just excellent. Roberta (the nurse), the drivers, and Maria in the office were wonderful. Highly recommend this company if you want your loved one to be well-cared for.
